Open Question: How does the official Job Offer from Boeing arrive?

I recently had a job interview at the Everett, WA Boeing Plant and was told by the hiring managers to expect an offer letter and new-hire packet. It has been two weeks and I still have not received anything. I have been checking my status online with BESS and it still shows "under consideration". Can anyone with Boeing experience tell me how the offer arrives? Is it still by FedEx package or have they updated to an electronic format via e-mail?
